Aline Zeltner (*1980 Biel) ist eine scharfe Beobachterin von Natur und Kultur. In ihren Werken spielt sie mit der menschlichen Wahrnehmung von Bildern und der Neigung zur unermüdlichen Suche nach Fokus.
In ihrer Einzelausstellung «Nebula» zeigt sie ihre Arbeiten unter dem Titel «Brum» - Nebel - die vertraut und zugleich geheimnisvoll wirken. Für die Serie «Homo animalis», observierte Aline Zeltner Zoo-Situationen zwischen Besuchern und Tieren, bis sich diese zu einem Bild zu verweben schienen und als Chimären in Erscheinung traten. Diese Mischwesen dienten schon in der griechischen Mythologie als symbolische Verknüpfung unterschiedlicher Kräfte und der Suche nach der Verbindung mit der Natur.

Aline Zeltner(*1980 Biel) is a keen observer of nature and culture. In her works she plays with the human perception of images and the tendency to an untiring search for focus.
In her solo exhibition «Nebula» she shows her works «Brum» - Fog - which seem familiar and at the same time mysterious. For the series «Homo animalis», Aline Zeltner observed situations between visitors and animals in zoos until they seemed to weave into a picture and appear as chimeras. Even in Greek mythology, these mixed creatures served as symbolic links between different forces and the search for a connection with nature.
